Looking Younger Making you feel Younger!

Complementing your smile.

Think Dentists and you definitely don’t think Botox and Fillers! But who better to perform these treatments than someone who has extensive knowledge of your facial muscles and the areas around your lips and nose.

More and more dentists are starting to offer these treatments alongside their regular dental treatments.

Although most of the knowledge is there, they still have to have extensive training regarding application of these treatments, the products that can be used and the effects they can achieve.

At Blue Sky Dental in Essex, Dr Amit Duggal is the Dentist that carries out these treatments.  Amit is also a Specialist Prosthodontist so you can be assured that you are in safe hands!

What can we do to make you look younger?

Using fillers we can smooth lines and wrinkles, add definition to your lips, make your lips look fuller and even make your cheek bones more defined.  Using Botox we can temporarily stop the lines appearing on your forehead, around your eyes and around the frown area.  Botox can also be used to prevent migraines and can be added to the top lip area to improve a gummy smile.

Are these treatments safe?

The products we use have had extensive research and tests carried out to ensure they are completely safe to use.  On rare occasions some people may experience side effects. A consultation with the dentist disclosing your medical history and an examination of the area to be treated should hopefully rule these out although unfortunately we cannot guarantee this.  We can assure you though that treatment will not be carried out unless we are completely happy that it is safe to do so.

How long do they last?

You can expect Botox treatment to last approximately 3 months with some patients even getting 4 months out of their treatment.  Fillers last a lot longer averaging between 12-18 months.  The effects start to fade gradually so you will aware when its time for re-treatment.

Do they hurt?

Botox treatment is no worse than picking a spot!  Small injections are made along the area to be treated.  Treatment time takes minutes and you can expect to see a difference in about 7-10 days.  Fillers are instant but are injected gradually therefore treatment can take time.  Some materials we use have an added anaesthetic to make the treatment more comfortable.  Alternatively we can use a topical cream to numb the area. Unfortunately the cream can take up to an hour to work making your treatment time even longer
